Preservation. Protection.

Land stewardship is a top priority of the Tesoro Viejo Conservancy. The Conservancy is committed to the protection and management of nearly 200 acres of natural open space within the Tesoro Viejo Master-planned community in Madera County CA. This includes riparian habitats, gorges and areas that have ecological, scenic, or historic significance.

Access.

The San Joaquin River—one of our region’s most coveted natural resources—is literally in Tesoro Viejo’s backyard. Committed to being good stewards of the land, Tesoro Viejo Conservancy is working with local and state agencies to construct and maintain public access improvements so that all can enjoy the beauty of the San Joaquin River. This regional asset will provide opportunities for the public to enjoy the San Joaquin River—with hiking, canoeing, and kayaking.
